i had 500 domains on godaddy, their prices went up recently by 150%. i tranferred them all to namecheap and dynadot and mitsu. godaddy is on the way out… is godaddy headed for bankruptcy or something weird going on with them?

I have found that GODADDY have been so beyond unreasonable this last few months.. Their prices have gone CRAZY! and I have over 60 domains with them and even bulk order renewals I get £0.10 discount ! – Hardly worth it is it?! It feels like they encourage you to spend money with them with huge discounts then when it comes to renewing they trap you and take the maximum off you… I think its SUPER weird too! :o(

I tried using the code for Private Registration for just $1 per year and received a notice of, “The promotional code you entered is invalid or ineligible for some of the items you are purchasing.” I am trying to renew a privately registered site. It seems as if GoDaddy doesn’t like their current customers.

I have a simple .com that HAD private registration. When I try to renew, it won’t let me renew without INCLUDING the private registration renewal. Before I put in any codes GD claims to be giving me a 21% discount. Every code I enter (including those two) is either 1)invalid/expired 2)accepted but my products are “ineligible”, or 3)accepted but require at least $50 purchase.
I don’t think that it is working i tried using it by even changing the currency to dollar still not working.
