A piece of good news: Godaddy recently added Paypal as a payment option when placing the order with them. So you can now use your PayPal account to pay for any products on GoDaddy, as well.
Previously, GoDaddy will allow you to pay in different forms of payment depending on where you live, maybe Alipay, UnionPay, etc., and Credit Card (by default). Paypal is only available for choosing with a bill of $5 or higher. This is the main reason why some people can't use Paypal for payment on some popular offers at Godaddy like $0.99 .COM, $1/year Domain Privacy, 99 Cent Domain Transfer, or the newest offer .CO for $.99.
But this inconvenience will no longer be present. You can use PayPal for every transaction at GoDaddy from now, without a minimum order value. If you have not linked Paypal to your GoDaddy account, you will see a suggestion to use Paypal for payment while ordering, like this:
Just click the Paypal button, link it to your account and make payment. For future orders, you'll see the option to pay by Paypal in your cart, as well as Credit Card or others.
Hint: If you want to use Paypal as a primary payment method, just following:
1. Go to Manage Your Billing. You might be prompted to log in.
2. Select item you want to change, click to Update Payment button.
3. Select Paypal, click Update Payment Method.
Please be advised that some GoDaddy promotional codes aren't supported by PayPal, thereover, you won't see the PayPal option if you are using one of these codes at purchase time. To resolve this issue, switch to using another payment method you have.
Good luck guys 🙂
