STEP 2: Next screen, you scroll down to Additional Settings section, then click to Transfer domain away from GoDaddy.

STEP 3: Next, you scroll to the section 6 then answer the questions, click Continue with Transfer button. (Enter the same as the below image if you don’t know what to type for)

STEP 4: The next screen is what we're waiting for: GoDaddy will show a 20% discount on a one-year renewal of your domain to keep you stay with them. Now, of course, you will click on Accept Offer button. After that, GoDaddy will direct you to the Check out page, and you will see a 20% off has been applied automatically.

Finally: Enjoy the saving.

The renewal tip for GoDaddy does not work. It offers the 20% discount before transfer, but if you acceot it, at check it will say that the discount does not apply to renewals.

  Hello Shakoure.
  This deal is provided by GoDaddy, and i has used when renewal my own domains, without any problems. I think, you need contact to Godaddy supporter to ask for this, let use chat-box to get quick answer from them 🙂

looks like this trick only works with one domain. If you have multiple domains, the other ones will not get the 20% discount.
